Sutton Christmas Party! |
| Great fun was had by all (albeit very
noisily!) at the Group Christmas party on Friday 14th
December. Over 80 young people were present, and
took part in all kinds of games activities. The
evening was rounded off by a hot-dog supper. |
| Scouts, Cubs
& Beavers Take To The Catwalk |
| Loads of our young people took to the
floor to model the latest ranges in fashion and
accessories - all in aid of raising funds for the
Group. Mulled wine, tea and cakes were served to
the spectators, and the evening raised in excess of
£350. |

Christmas Market Stall |
| As usual, 1st Long Sutton Scout Group took
the cake stall at the Long Sutton Christmas
Market, and raised in excess of £80 for Group funds. |
| Thomas
Receives Young Spokesperson Of The Year Award |
| In recognition of his hard work and
support to the media team in Lincolnshire during 2007,
Thomas was awarded the Young Spokesperson of the year
award in December. Thomas was one of the 'team of
three' who looked after the Media Centre on Brownsea
Island for the Sunrise Centenary period. This
award goes some way to illustrating how much Scouting in general,
(and specifically) Scouting in Lincolnshire
appreciated his efforts. |
